1. Bibs and participating gifts 

Location: Petite Prairie Gerland Park – Allée Pierre de Coubertin 69007 Lyon


Saturday, October 12: 10 am – 6 pm

Sunday, October 13: 7am – up to 30 minutes before the start of your walk


Group withdrawal:

The person in charge of the group must present himself at the office “RETRAIT GROUPE” equipped with a piece of identity.

All bibs and participating gifts are given to him.


Individual withdrawal:

Each registrant must present himself at the office corresponding to his chosen walk “COURSE GREEN or BLUE or RED or BLACK” provided with an ID.

You do not need to give your bib number.

It is possible to remove the bib of another person by presenting the ID (or copy) of the registrant.


2. Free stick loan

NordicWalkin’Lyon poles will be available for free at the “Ready to Stick” stand at the Nordic Walking & Wellness Show.

You will need to bring an identity card that will serve as a deposit or a check deposit.


You can also buy these sticks during your registration online or on the spot after having tested them !!

For those who have purchased the sticks during registration, the withdrawal of their poles will be done directly on the stand “Prêt de bâton” Nordic Walking Salon & Well-being, upon presentation of an identity document.

Free and free access to Nordic Walking & Wellbeing activities for participants, their companions and anyone wanting to discover the activity.

5. Material

NB: we ask all participants to provide their own reusable cup for refueling, in order to reduce the number of waste (the organization will not provide a cup)


6.Nordic Walking – Sunday 13th October

On the course:

The routes favor non-traffic routes. Take care when crossing the road, RESPECT the CODE OF THE ROAD and be attentive to the instructions of the volunteers present on the course.

The course is mainly on hard ground. For Nordic walkers, plan for tips / pads for your poles and a pair of spare tips (on-site sale).

All courses are marked. There are refuelings on the course according to the distance to go offering food and drink. However, provide a supply of water and food, as well as a reusable cup for refueling, to reduce the number of waste!

At the arrival :

The finish is located at Parc de Gerland for BLUE, RED and BLACK routes.

The arrival is located Place Saint-Jean for the GREEN course, the participants will have to join Gerland by subway if they wish to take part in the stretching sessions and benefit from the osteopathic care.

8. Access and transportation during the event

Relay car parks are also available at the “Oullins” metro stop (line B, 1 stop from the Gerland Metro stop). More information here

Parking places exist around Gerland but there will be no specific parking and reserved for participants (work area and other events around).


9. Additional information: baggage room and showers

Baggage room: for safety reasons Vigipirate, the organization does not provide baggage room for participants.

Showers: in view of the very low use of showers on previous editions, there will be no showers on the event.
